Episode 09: A Time to Celebrant

Gill the celebrant has called a meeting with Husband and Wife to be Joanne and Jack. Gill is very particular about who she marries and has taken previous couples divorces extremely personally.

She’s met a lot of couples and is pretty good at sifting out the ones that won’t work. Joanne and Jack haven’t always been so certain about their relationship.

Will Gill marry them?

Since Charlottes moved from London to Wales in 2017, She’s worked on some Welsh projects including CH4 series 35 Awr, and long running soap Gwaith Catref. Charlotte’s singing voice is currently features in comedy film, Love Spreads, which premiered at the Tribeca film festival. She also features in A gorgeous short film The Cunning Man, which has won over 20 awards at international film festivals through 2020-2021. 

Tom trained at Rose Bruford College.  Theatre includes Highway One (Wales Millennium Centre/August012  Festival of Voice), Cracked (PAC Tour), Of Mice and Men (August 012).  Television: Hidden (BBC), 35Awr (S4C), Pobol y Cwm (S4C), Torchwood (BBC/Starz).  Film: Spoilers (BAFTA Cymru nominated).  Radio:  Tracks (BBC Radio 4).  Tom voices numerous national advertising campaigns.

Co-creator of ‘Babble and Froth’, Rebecca trained as an actress at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and also trained classically as a singer.

Rebecca began her career in Musical theatre, touring nationally with the Who’s Rock Opera ‘Tommy’ and Barbara in Ray Cooney’s ‘Time’s Up’ at the Shaftesbury.

Rebecca has appeared as Frau Kurten in Anthony Neilson’s ‘Normal’ at the Greenwich Playhouse, Olive in the Female version of ‘The Odd Couple’ and Andi in ‘Sweet As’ at the Soho Theatre. Rebecca has had TV roles in Holby, Eastenders and played the role of Twattsie in two seasons of Aussie Comedy series ‘It’s a Date’ for the ABC.

Rebecca co-created the theatre project ‘Stolen Moments’ – a monthly showcase of short scenes both in London and Melbourne, which inspired the format for ‘Babble and Froth’.

Rebecca has a passion for comedy, a great ear for accents and loves creating new characters. After a few years “resting” to pursue her role as ‘Real life Mother of two’, she’s extremely excited to have a script in her hand. She hopes you enjoy the show.
